  1. Hi -- I realize you are focused on infants and toddlers, but can you share recommendations of apps to promote reading, phonics, writing and math for older children?

    Thanks! Louise

  2. My 20 year old daughter has Cerebral Palsy. I got her an ipad for Christmas and she LOVES it. She needs NO help at all doing anythng. She even downloaded Netflix and is now able to watch any movie she wants. Like the question in the above post, do you know of anything for older children to use? She is on a Kindergarten level.

  3. We LOVE Talking Tom at our house. It gets Max talking and all of us basically find it continuously amusing. He also likes the bowling app, which is good for fine-motor control. I think this is it:

Thanks for this list, I will be checking these apps out!

  4. Thanks for the support and I am not familiar at all with apps for older kids since my experience is basically with infants and toddlers. The app world is so huge I can barely keep up with what is out there for babies but I am have listed some links in eariler posts about apps for older kids with speical needs. Also a great start is the blog Momswithapps. Good luck and let us know what you find out for older kids.
