This blog is designed to document infants/toddlers with disabilities using an iPad to promote their development. I hope to show how this new technology can help children with disabilities develop their communication, play, pre-literacy, cognitive, visual/auditory and motor skills.
I just purchased the next iPad for a deserving 13 to 18 year old with multiple medical and/or developmental issues that resides in the US. The deadline is September 13, 2011 at 4 pm and the iPad will be granted the next week. Please spread the word.
I think it is amazing what you are doing! My son is 2.5, non verbal and was just diagnosed with autism. I have been researching ipad's and am so excited to get him one, I think it will open up a whole new world for him! I have been searching for grants online and although we do not qualify for the one you offer, I just had to tell you how amazing it is that you are doing this! Keep it up!
We are planning to buy an IPAD for our 2 year old son with Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). Can you please let me know which version of IPAD will best serve the purpose, what accessories will be needed and what apps to buy ? We don't want to rush and buy a costly item without doing a little research. Thanks for your time.

تعتبر الشاورما من الأكلات السريعة التي يحبها الكثير من الناس، فهي سريعة التحضير والشراء من متاجر المواد الغذائية لما لها من طعم ونكهة مميزة، ويضاف إليها العديد من الصلصات، وهي كذلك توضع على الخبز العربي والسوري، ويمكنك الاختيار بين شاورما اللحم أو الدجاج، وتوضع عليها البطاطس المقلية، مما يضفي عليها نكهة مميزة.
